World  Quality Day  is  celebrated  internationally  every year  on  the second  Thursday of  November.

TAYO celebrated World Quality Day on 8th November, 2012 and Quality Month in the month of November, in conjunction with this. Theme for Quality Month - 2012, "Quality: Delivering Competitive Advantage", in keeping with the current challenges in the economic environment.

With the objective of constantly arousing consciousness amongst employees and propagating Quality Culture across the Company, we have been observing Quality Month during the month of November- year after year. The active participation by employees in these initiatives such as TBEM, ISO,TPM,3S/5S, 7 Basic QC Tools, Quality Circle, Daily Works Management, Root-Cause Analysis, "Irreversible" Corrective Action, Continuous Improvement Projects, Quiz Competitions etc., have contributed towards the growth of our Company at large.

With a view to accelerate the movement of Quality across the Company, various  events  and  competitions  are  being held  amongst employees  during  the month of November, 2012, to  inculcate, enrich spirit  of  innovation, recognize  and reward winning employees and give a fillip to continual improvement and business  excellence.

In the TATA  spirit of  engaging all  stake-holders, children  of  employees living in Tata Complex  Colony  Gamharia,participated in a sit-and-draw competition  on 11th November,2012   and  displayed their rich talent, praise worthy. Some  of these children could go on to become Artists, Designers  and creative personalities in the future.
